Opens his first salon in the busy suburbs of Lokhandwala. The Vikas Marwah Lokhandwala Salon is among the "Top 5 Celebrity Salons in Mumbai". Its vibrant ambience, youth popularity and celebrity quotient makes it one of the coolest places to get a makeover.

He starts his print media journey! He gets regular coverage in print and online media for his expert inputs. His columns and interviews regularly appear in magazines like Femina, Hair & Beauty, New Age Salon, Salon International, Beauty & Style, Health & Nutrition, Hindustan Times and more.

He opened his second salon at Bandra. This classy space is visited by many VIP Clients, celebrities, models, college students and also gets many special appointments for hair and skin indulgences.

He starts his own Academy. He is an Inspiring Educator and his Academy is IAO Certified offering Indian and NRI students a platform to learn the skills needed to be a successful hairdresser.
